Here is my blog as instructed :P
As a Silly Monkey has stated, I have been accepted to study a diploma in Wedding Planning and Events Management (YAY!). I am now trying to sort out the finances to fund this little two year course of mine, since I am the last one to jump on this here study-bandwagon I am a bit confused as to how to go about it, but I’ve put it all out there and everything has been falling into place so far so I’ll trust that the Universe has it all under control and that it will happen for me.
My Man-Chunk is going through a bit of a rough patch for the last couple of weeks, but with the help of some extra meds and a (pretty hardcore) gym program, he is getting back to his old weirdly wonderful self. So that’s a relief! So proud of him for working so hard to get better, he really is one of the strongest people I know.
Methinks that 2011 is going to be quite the year! All of us will be a ¼ of a century old this year, Nel and Jerm’s first year of marriage, Mic & Jason will finally be back to Cape Town (for good) and will make their home here and invite us all over for dinner parties, Candi & Wes will be celebrating their 3rd year of marriage and Candi will be spreading her wings as Orientation Leader and editor, Jan will be finding love (wink wink perhaps with the help of a little llama karma?), and Jacques and I will be celebrating 1 decade together and 5 years of marriage! Its gotto be a good year amirite? I wanna know what you think your biggest achievement will be in 2011?
I think that this year I will be taking more chances and embrace the person I am and make the best of what I have. I will also be getting my ass qualified as an Events Coordinator and hopefully start my own business (well this little goal will have to stretch the next two years). I will let creative thought and action rule. And I will finish my sleeve, two years is quite long enough I think, time for a finished tattoo. So I guess that’s quite a lot of things to accomplish, but I feel great about it, and I feel that they are all within my reach, and if not, then so be it. Life is short and I am not going to waste my time wondering why things happen the way they do, I just wanna live! That’s good enough for me.
